Job summary

UCT in Austin, Texas is seeking an Engineering Technician III to support assembly, diagnosis, and testing of complex electro-mechanical systems. The role acts as a technical expert on the production floor, addressing first-line escalations and contributing to prototype development.

The technician applies engineering principles, CAD tools, and GMP standards to improve product quality and manufacturability, while participating in design reviews and improving documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficient written and verbal communication.
• Drafting software experience (CAD, SolidWorks).
• Ability to develop and document new processes and write reports with Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, diagnose, and test complex electro-mechanical systems on the production floor.
• Provide advanced sustaining engineering support and participate in CAPA and failure analysis.
• Assist in design reviews, documentation updates, and process improvements.
• Train Technicians and operate in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards.
