Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex electro-mechanical tasks including design, test, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform testing and troubleshooting.
• Compile logbooks and test procedures documentation; assist in revising department procedures.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms per Engineering and Manufacturing documentation and specifications.
• Observe safety standards and maintain a safe, clean work environment; report hazards or emergencies.
• Familiarize with current manufacturing/engineering processes and assist in problem correction.
• Perform rework and assist in determining remedies for malfunctions and generate Quality Notifications.
