Job summary

UCT in Austin, Texas is seeking an Engineering Technician III to support the engineering department in assembling, diagnosing, and testing complex electro-mechanical systems on the production floor.

The role serves as a technical expert, resolves escalations, contributes to prototype development and design refinement, and supports CAPA, root-cause analysis, and documentation improvements in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient drafting software experience (CAD, SolidWorks).
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, diagnose, and test complex electro‑mechanical systems.
• Provide advanced sustaining engineering support to the facility and other locations.
• Support CAPA resolution and root-cause analysis (CAPA, 8D, FMEA).
• Review, develop and maintain process documents, drawings and training materials.
• Train Technicians and Engineering Technicians 1 and 2 on SOPs and new processes.
