Sigma Design Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician II – Failure Analysis to support hardware investigations, repairs, and reliability testing of robotic and electromechanical systems.

You will assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and qualify assets for engineering evaluation, working closely with engineers to document results and ensure quality. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), 2+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to read schematics and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• 2+ years relevant experience in hardware testing or repair.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical prints.
• Experience with measurement tools and lab instrumentation preferred.
• Experience assembling, repairing, or troubleshooting electromechanical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade prototypes and harness assemblies.
• Support builds involving pneumatics, sensors, motors, and electromechanical components.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild hardware per procedures.
• Perform replacements, wiring and harness repairs, and adjustments as needed.
• Configure and maintain test setups and instrumentation for validation.
