SMX is looking for a skilled and motivated Part-time Network Installer (Telecommunications Mechanic II) to join our high-impact integration team supporting mission-critical operations. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting copper and fiber-optic cabling infrastructures for secure communication networks, audio/visual systems, video-teleconferencing (VTC), and Electronic Security Systems (ESS). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working in structured cabling environments, follows safety codes and industry best practices, and thrives supporting high-profile Department of Defense and Federal government clients. The Network Installer may also assist with the integration of digital switching equipment, racks and miscellaneous telephone, radio, fire alarms, intrusion alarms, and computer data circuits and related apparatus.
This position requires a DoD Secret with eligibility for Top-Secret which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

The proposed salary for this position is:
$61,400—$92,200 USD
