Job summary

Radial Solutions Inc. (RSi) seeks an Engineering Technician II to support NASA's METTS program in Huntsville, Alabama. The role provides semi-professional technical support to engineers in design, testing, and manufacturing process improvement.

You will prepare drawings, assemble equipment, run tests, record data, and help ensure safety and reliability in a controlled lab environment; occasional overtime and shift flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with hand tools such as torque wrenches and helicoil tools.
• Experience reading blueprints and understanding parts lists.
• Some practical knowledge of science or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design drawings and assist with the design, evaluation, and/or modification of machinery and equipment.
• Assemble or construct standard equipment or parts following specific instructions.
• Service and repair simple instruments or equipment as directed.
• Conducts variety of tests using established methods and operate test equipment.
• Prepare test specimens and accurately record and verify test data.
• Identify deviations caused by equipment issues or observational errors.
• Extract and process engineering data using defined algebraic and geometric methods.
• Present processed data in prescribed formats for engineering review.
