Vision Point Systems, Inc. is seeking an engineering technician to support corrosion testing at customer sites in Bethesda, MD and Olney, MD. The role emphasizes precision, hands-on lab work, and collaboration with engineers.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in a lab setting, and be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Onsite work at multiple locations is required and strong communication is essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of lab experience or equivalent.
• Willing to work onsite in Bethesda, MD and Olney, MD.
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare corrosion testing specimens including abrasive blasting of metal coupons and coating applications.
• Collect objective quality evidence (OQE) verifying specimen preparation and coating specs.
• Assist design and construction of test apparatuses, including rapid prototyping and basic machining.
• Maintain functionality of equipment, troubleshoot, calibrate, and schedule calibrations.
• Assist engineers with test program execution, data collection, and inspections.
• Assist Government personnel with laboratory upkeep and organization.
