Job summary

Vision Point Systems, Inc. is recruiting an engineering technician for onsite work at customer locations in Bethesda and Olney, MD. You will prepare corrosion test specimens, collect objective quality evidence, and assist with test apparatus design and construction.

The role supports engineers in test program execution, equipment maintenance, and lab upkeep. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 2+ years in a lab setting and the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of lab experience.
• Willing to work in Bethesda, MD and Olney, MD.
• Able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
• Demonstrates precision and pays attention to details.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare corrosion testing specimens including abrasive blasting and coating applications.
• Collect objective quality evidence and verify coating and surface specifications.
• Assist with design and construction of test apparatus.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and calibrate as needed.
• Assist engineers with test program execution and data collection.
• Help government personnel with laboratory upkeep and safety.
• Work onsite at Bethesda and Olney, MD.
