Protolabs in Minnesota is seeking an Engineering Technician I to support continuous improvement initiatives, engineering projects, and new equipment implementations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze manufacturing data, and help drive efficiency and quality improvements.

The role requires lean manufacturing knowledge, 2+ years of experience, and strong communication; the company provides a competitive rewards package and comprehensive benefits. On-site role in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or trade school cert.
• Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement methods.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with cross-functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement and engineering projects.
• Assist and facilitate 5S and other CI changes.
• Participate in project teams led by engineers or senior technicians.
• Set up and execute special operations for customer orders.
• Support equipment projects, cost reduction, and new product introductions.
• Perform testing, data entry and analysis as needed.
