Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Burnet, Texas, is seeking an Engineering Technician I to support receiving and purification processes.

You will start, monitor, and troubleshoot purification systems, perform decontamination, sampling, filling, and inspection of products, and work with cross-functional teams to meet safety and quality standards. The role requires handling, lab sampling, and equipment maintenance, with a 3-2-2-3 shift pattern starting at 6am.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus.
• Previous chemical handling experience is preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000.
• Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs.
• Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and respond quickly to new situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment.
• Sample, fill, and inspect final products.
• Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis.
• Inspect complete products to ensure quality standards.
• Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal.
• Ensure on-time delivery of high-volume products from make to ship.
• Propose and implement process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
