The Role
Our Burnet, TX site is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team.
In this role you will be responsible for starting, monitoring, and troubleshooting purification systems. The technician will perform decontamination, sampling, filling, and inspecting products. This role ensures our products meet the highest safety and quality standards while meeting customers' tight timelines. The technician will also work cross‑functionally.
Shift: 3‑2‑2‑3 schedule on days (6am‑6pm) or nights (6pm‑6am) once fully trained and certified. Multiple shifts and levels are available.
What You'll Do
- Run purification systems under specific quality and engineering controls;
- Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment;
- Sample, fill, and inspect final products.
- Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis;
- Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product;
- Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards;
- Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal;
- Ensure on‑time delivery of low volume products from make to ship;
- Propose and implement process improvements;
- Work with Engineers to run experiments, troubleshoot systems, create/update PMs and maintain spare parts;
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Seek
- Knowledge of sublimation, decon, valve building, harvesting, fill and morph solids;
- Good communication skills, training experience and troubleshooting skills;

Outstanding Candidates Will Have
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus;
- 2+ years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive);
- Previous chemical handling experience;
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus;
- Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus;
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000;
- Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs;
- Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks
