Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field/lab testing assistant to perform testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials under supervision. You will collect samples, document results, and communicate findings to the Project Manager to ensure accurate daily reporting.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 6 months of experience, and a valid driver's license. Certifications such as ACI and Nuclear Density Gauge within specified timeframes are preferred to progress in the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience required.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations under supervision.
• Provide clear, accurate documentation of findings and results.
• Communicate data and results to Project Manager prior to submittal.
• Submit documentation and communicate results as directed by the Project Manager.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and support safety and quality standards on all projects.
