Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician with expertise in electro-mechanical systems to support design, assembly, and testing efforts. Engineering Technician ( Electro - Mechanical Systems)

Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $44.35-$49.35/Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a lead technician and mentor, supporting the design, assembly, and testing of prototype electro-mechanical and optical systems.
Interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and layouts to identify required interfaces and ensure accurate integration.
Perform advanced system-level troubleshooting down to the component level using diagnostics and schematics.
Build, calibrate, adjust, and maintain equipment, devices, or systems for experimental or production use.
Conduct testing, checkout, and verification of functional performance against design specifications.
Perform fiber optic splicing, handling, and optical cable management.
Execute precision optical testing and measurement procedures.
Travel regularly to out-of-state test facilities to support off-site testing and validation.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and training.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on technician experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Expertise in interpreting and applying detailed technical specifications, standards, and test protocols.
Proven proficiency with optical systems, including fiber optics and laser/light transmission devices.
Strong background in electro-mechanical troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
Willingness and availability for regular travel to support test site operations.
