Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification or equivalent training in Electronics or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant technical or engineering support experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, maintenance and repair of Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Support engineers and scientists in R&D and manufacturing operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain service documentation.
• Assist with installation, setup and qualification of new semiconductor equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Engineering Technician to join our team in Austin, TX. This role supports the testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification of advanced semiconductor equipment in both research and production environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing, maintenance, and repair of Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems

Required Qualifications
