Job summary

Hydraulic Supply Company (HSC), a division of Motion Industries, seeks a Hydraulic Technical Support Specialist based in West Palm Beach, Florida to assist sales and engineering teams.

You will answer fluid power questions, design basic hydraulic systems, and cross-over components, interfacing with engineering, build shop, customer service and sales to support customers.

Qualifications

• Fluid power knowledge/experience required.
• Read and understand engineering drawings.
• Excellent telephone and e-mail skills.
• Familiarity with CAD is a plus.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word and basic office tools.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical questions about fluid power from customers and colleagues.
• Design basic hydraulic systems to meet customer needs.
• Cross-over components from other manufacturers to current supplier part numbers.
• Interface with engineering, build shop, customer service and sales teams.
