Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Engineering Technician in West Fargo, ND to support design, testing and continuous improvement of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and automation systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize door systems and contribute to new product development.

The role requires reading schematics and drawings, performing engineering tests, and collaborating with engineers and other teams to enhance designs and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Experience diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems.
• Repair and optimize existing door systems while supporting new product development.
• Create and update detailed mechanical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Conduct tests to verify system functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve designs.
