Job summary

CTDI is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to lead building and automation equipment upkeep in our Indiana facility. You will oversee maintenance, upgrades, and continuous improvement of automation systems to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with building and automation equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to coordinate with outside vendors. We offer weekly pay, a monthly incentive bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with building and automation equipment maintenance.
• Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems, control systems, warehouse equipment, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning.
• Experience working with outside vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintenance of mechanical equipment (conveyors, robots, motors, pneumatic devices, control devices, scanners, photo-eyes, etc.).
• Understanding of equipment operation and basic troubleshooting for equipment controls (PLC, WES, WCS).
• Maintain daily logs, perform preventative maintenance, conduct daily inspections and routine adjustments as needed to keep the automation equipment in good working order.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests. Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution. This may require non-shift work.
• Assist with any automation system installation and retrofits as needed.
• Support CTDI’s sustainability initiatives.
• Work with all levels of management to define and prioritize workflow.

1st Shift: 7:00AM - 3:00PM, Monday - Friday

• Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems, control systems, warehouse equipment, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning.
• Experience working with outside vendors and contractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
