Bowhead seeks an Engineering Technician to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division. The technician performs complex assignments involving project planning, execution, and completion.

Responsibilities

• Construct components, subunits, or simple models; adapt standard equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Use layout and scientific diagrams to construct and package devices and subunits.
• Conduct tests or experiments, modify setups as needed, record data.
• Compile engineering data from various sources, identify errors, and present data effectively.
• Assist in design modifications by analyzing data related to design, specifications, and materials.
• Research operational failures and modifications, recognize data gaps, and seek clarifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communicator with all levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 25 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Twist, bend, and squat periodically.

Security Clearance
