Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. is seeking a dedicated engineer to perform operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment at our Greensboro facility. You will create test plans, measure parts, collect data, and provide initial analysis while collaborating with Design, Characterization and Product Teams.

This role includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance, configuring station setups, and trouble shooting to identify root causes. Proficient soldering with a microscope is required.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent military training.
  • 1+ years of experience in an engineering lab environment.
  • Willing to learn new skills, become proficient, and advance to assume greater responsibility.
  • Achievement oriented.
  • Eager to learn and grow skill sets.

Responsibilities

  • Direct interaction supporting Design, Characterization and Product Teams.
  • Perform equipment preventive maintenance, unplanned corrective maintenance, and product changeovers.
  • Station Setups/Calibrations and trouble shoot to determine root cause of failures.
  • Hand solder components as small as 0402, QFN, using microscope.

This is a 3rd shift role, which would be working Monday through Thursday starting at 3:00 pm and ending at 1:00 am.
