Job summary

EPC Power Corp. is seeking an Engineering Test Technician to support the design and manufacturing teams. The role involves setting up tests, collecting data, and documenting results to guide development decisions.

The position includes assembling test fixtures, promoting safety and efficiency, and participating in process improvements. An associate degree in engineering or related certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Internship or hands‑on manufacturing experience preferred.
• One year experience as an Engineering Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with common power tools and wiring harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the engineering team during the design and manufacturing process.
• Provide fabrication/assembly support for engineering test fixtures, setups, prototype builds.
• Support in the design of test fixtures and assembly.
• Set up & perform tests, collect data, and document performance, report results out to engineering.
• Assist in implementing improvements in production, efficiency, and quality.
• Provide documentation and process support.
• Conduct process evaluations and identify process improvement opportunities, communicating those opportunities to the appropriate teams.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and technical problems to identify root causes.
• Calibrate equipment.
• Perform work in a safe manner and in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
• Other duties and responsibilities within the scope of role, needed or assigned.

Job description

The Engineering Test Technician position provides direct technical support to the engineering team. • Experience create wiring harnesses, high voltage/low voltage cable - crimping/cutting cable tools.
• Experience in using Microsoft apps such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience or ability to use electrical measuring equipment.
