Job Title: Engineering Technician

Reports to: Engineering Support Lead

Qualifications And Requirements

• Associates Degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in performance and qualification testing of products.

Job Responsibilities

• Setup instrumentation & perform engineering qualification tests on products
• Install & operate instrumentation for pressure, temperature, power & vacuum measurements
• Test, calibrate & troubleshoot electrical & mechanical equipment
• Mechanical & electrical assembly of prototypes
• Helium leak detection of pressurized components
• Gas chromatograph testing
• Safe handling of pressurized equipment, voltages up to 600V, and cryogenic gases.
• Recording of test data including use of data acquisition systems including Labview
• Write test reports
  
  

Beneficial Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge of vacuum and cryogenic systems
• Experience with programming within National Instruments LabView.
