AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Redstone Test and Engineering Services (RTES) contract in support of the Redstone Test Center mission to provide superior technical expertise conducting tests, analyzing the results, and reporting the results on systems, subsystems, and components related to aviation platforms.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Months/Years of Experience: Nine (9) years of applicable experience supporting engineering, design or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or four (4) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and five (5) years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; and the following additional requirements: Instrumentation – Experience must include successful completion of sixteen (16) weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and a minimum of 6 years of experience in electronics/instrumentation supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Duties:The Special Projects Team Lead will serve as a pivotal member of the ECA division, responsible for overseeing daily operations and guiding team members to achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment. Duties will include: Assembly and soldering electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface mount and through-hole techniques in compliance with IPC J-Standard. Building and testing chassis containing electronic and RF components such as filters, attenuators, and combiners. Assembly and testing of RF connectors (BNC, N-type, TNC) onto cable assemblies. Building and testing custom cables and wiring harnesses using military standard and commercial connectors; performing cable crimping, cutting, and finishing to specifications. Use electronic test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, analyzers to help troubleshoot circuits in concert with division engineers. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support prototype development and continuous product improvement.
