(ASRI) is recruiting for the Redstone Test and Engineering Services (RTES) contract in support of the Redstone Test Center mission to provide superior technical expertise conducting tests, analyzing the results, and reporting the results on systems, subsystems, and components related to aviation, missile, and sensor platforms.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Months/Years of Experience: Three ( 3) years of applicable experience supporting engineering or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or two (2) years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and one (1) year of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; and the following additional requirements: Mechanical – Must have successful completion of vocational/military/technical school training in practical or industrial arts and one (1) year of experience in mechanical fabrication and structural/fixture setup supporting engineering or testing of military hardware.
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Travel as needed on and off site.
Duties: Perform engineering technician tasks in support of aviation test programs. Support the testing of military assets using established methods and procedures. This technician will be assigned to the build up of new test load frames, cabling, maintenance of currently operating test stands, installation and removal of test assets from setups according to applicable documentation. Operation of DeweSoft (data acquisition), and data logging for tests. Installation and removal of hydraulic equipment. Setup and conduction support for tests on the Universal Test Stand. Support for the Launcher Program as needed.
