Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to provide leadership for the Milledgeville HQ engineering team, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer value.

The role oversees planning, design, and construction activities, manages area budgets, and drives inclusion through DEI initiatives while guiding performance and talent development.

The ES will collaborate across departments, serve as SERP Operations Director, and participate in system-wide events and community activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years Power Delivery experience preferred.
• Experience with capital and O&M budgets a plus.
• Experience with storm response and planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team, fostering safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee planning, design, and construction activities for the area.
• Monitor budgets and ensure reliability and cost targets.
• Address customer issues promptly and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
• Serve as SERP Operations Director and participate in events.
