Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking an Engineer, Engineering Associate, or Engineering Representative to support the Savannah Operations Center and related offices. The role covers engineering design, project management, customer support, and reliability improvements for network underground systems, including duct lines and manholes.

You will interface with customers, developers, and multiple internal teams to schedule work and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong technical engineering knowledge in electric power systems.
• Experience with GIS and engineering design software.
• Knowledge of NESC and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design and project management for underground network.
• Coordinate construction, permitting, and commissioning activities.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, developers, and field teams.
