Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking an Associate Engineer (SGL16) for our Little Rock, AR office.

This entry-level role contributes to the evaluation, selection, and application of standard engineering techniques for designing, drafting, and modifying natural gas transmission pipelines and distribution systems. The successful candidate will assist with preliminary and technical engineering design, project management, permitting, and safe implementation of natural gas projects within the Summit

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in engineering required.
• Entry-level engineering role with leadership support.
• Strong mathematical proficiency and CAD/GIS familiarity.
• Ability to collaborate across departments.
• Willingness to perform field work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit gas system drawings using CAD tools.
• Assist with gas modeling and system analysis.
• Review design standards and prepare permit documents.
• Support project management and scheduling.
• Work with multiple departments and field teams.
• Draft easement and permit related documents.
