Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 4–9 years of relevant utility engineering experience.
• Experience with electric utility distribution engineering, design, and construction.
• Knowledge of overhead distribution design, system planning, and joint use processes.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or team leadership experience.
• Strong communication, project management, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and resources.
• Team-oriented with a positive, results-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and supervise a team of engineering assistants.
• Foster a safe, positive, and customer-focused work environment.
• Manage engineering workload and project assignments for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Provide technical guidance for planning, design, and construction of overhead distribution facilities.
• Review and approve engineering work requests, project designs, cost estimates, and construction packages.
• Coordinate and oversee joint use projects and other distribution initiatives.
• Direct technical studies and analyses including load assessments and long-range planning.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project execution.
• Develop project forecasts, budgets, and resource plans.
• Encourage innovation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
