Job summary

Productive Resources is seeking an Engineering Team Lead for our customer's facility in Salina, KS. You will lead the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of Kubota-branded construction equipment attachments while providing technical leadership and managing project execution.

The role requires a BS in mechanical engineering with 7+ years of design experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years design/product engineering experience in construction equipment or related industries.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex engineering projects.
• Strong foundation in structural design, welding, fabrication, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the engineering team focusing on design and development of Ground Engaging and Material Handling attachments for construction equipment.
• Own the product development lifecycle from concept through release using Stage Gate process.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to onsite and overseas contract engineers.
• Review designs, drawings, and specifications for safety, quality, and compliance.
• Drive innovation, durability, manufacturability, and cost optimization across projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Manage multiple engineering projects from concept to production with priorities, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and product management teams.
