Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a Product Strategy Leader for CE Attachments in Salina, KS to guide the Kubota attachment portfolio and translate customer, dealer, and competitive insight into market-leading products.

The role requires extensive experience in compact construction equipment strategy, cross-functional leadership, and international collaboration. Travel up to 30% may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees in management or strategy a plus.
• 15–20+ years leading product strategy, management, portfolio planning, or market development for off-highway equipment or related suppliers.
• Ability to use competitive intelligence, market segmentation, customer needs analysis, and portfolio economics to define strategy.
• Proficiency with Word processing, Internet, Email, Spreadsheets, presentations, and graphics.

Responsibilities

• Define segment strategy for GPM and Kubota CE Attachments.
• Lead and grow a functional strategy team across the attachment portfolio.
• Participate in global initiatives to standardize and expand Kubota CE Attachments.
• Guide Stage Gate development for new products and portfolio opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams through Stage Gate to deliver new products to market.
• Identify new product development needs and improvements from VOC and dealer insights.
• Maintain market-based pricing and support schedule management for new products.
