Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota company, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our Salina team on-site. This role supports production with schedules, cross-functional project leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet timelines.

You will drive manufacturing improvements in fabrication, welding, painting and assembly, maintain detailed schedules, report progress to management, and ensure safety compliance per OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Solid problem-solving skills and manufacturing timeline awareness.
• Project management experience is a plus; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive actions and deliverables to meet program timelines.
• Lead cross-functional groups to hit milestones (Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Materials, Quality).
• Document issues, actions, owners and dates; close open items to schedules.
• Review open issues with leadership and maintain detailed schedules.
• Communicate effectively and foster teamwork; ensure safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as needed in a manufacturing environment.
