Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an engineering leader to own delivery across mobile, web, and backend, driving business outcomes. You will collaborate with product, design, and growth to ensure roadmaps reflect engineering realities and evaluate UI/UX for customer value.

You will oversee intake and prioritization, ship minimal viable slices, and guide a growing team with 1:1s and feedback while protecting quality through SLOs and a robust release process.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience: 8+ years leading engineers in software teams.
• Strong architecture and code review skills to drive quality.
• Full-stack judgment across mobile, web, and backend systems.
• Deep iOS expertise with production Swift/SwiftUI apps, and Android Kotlin/Jetpack.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery end-to-end across mobile, web, and backend and the business outcomes it drives.
• Partner with product, design, and growth to align roadmaps with engineering reality and review UI/UX for impact.
• Run intake and prioritization, sequencing work against business objectives and commitments.
• Lead and grow the team with 1:1s, feedback, and career development.
• Protect quality with SLOs, review processes, and robust release pipelines.
