Job summary

Neel-Schaffer, Inc. seeks a Talent Development Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of professional and technical development across engineering, planning, environmental, technology, and corporate support disciplines, based in one of our offices in Jackson, MS; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Birmingham, AL; or Columbia, SC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, Communications, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of progressively responsible Talent Development or Learning & Development experience.
• Experience leading complex learning or organizational development projects.
• Experience coordinating technical training or continuing education programs.
• Experience administering an LMS and generating reports.
• Professional certification such as CPTD/APTD/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR, or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of firmwide talent development programs across multiple disciplines.
• Oversee LMS administration, curricula, learning paths, and certifications.
• Develop scalable knowledge-sharing resources such as courses, job aids, videos, and templates.
• Manage onboarding, career development, mentoring, coaching, and capability-building initiatives.
• Collaborate with leaders to align learning with business priorities and metrics.
• Coordinate multiple talent development projects with timelines, budgets, and stakeholders.
