Job summary

Eaton is offering a structured Engineering Systems and Continuous Improvement Co‑op for students. You will rotate through three connected assignments—Engineering Systems and Automation, Product Line Continuous Improvement, and an End-to-End Capstone Project—across Arden, NC, and Greenwood, SC.

You’ll analyze data, support documentation and automation, identify improvements, and develop a capstone project that demonstrates measurable business results.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree program in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Completion of foundational university coursework appropriate to the student’s degree program.
• Ability to complete the full three-term co‑op assignment consisting of a Spring semester, Summer internship, and Fall semester.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering systems, support tickets, user feedback, and process performance data to identify trends and automation opportunities.
• Support the administration, testing, validation, and documentation of front end engineering systems and related ETO processes.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and develop practical solutions.
• Document current-state workflows, perform root cause analysis, and suggest actions to improve productivity, quality, and user experience.
