Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree program in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Completion of foundational university coursework appropriate to the student’s degree program.
• Ability to complete the full three-term co-op assignment (Spring, Summer, Fall).
• Eaton will not sponsor CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or visa changes for this position.
• Ability to work at the assigned location for the duration of the program.
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering systems, support tickets, and data to identify trends and automation opportunities.
• Support administration, testing, validation, and documentation of front-end engineering systems and related processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and develop practical solutions.
• Document current-state workflows, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements to productivity and quality.
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, dashboards, and technical documentation.
• Support automation and digital transformation projects through data analysis and testing.
