Job summary

Accenture is seeking a consultant to help world-leading enterprises reinvent their engineering practices, focusing on product development, cost optimization, and digital transformation using advanced analytics and emerging technologies. You will work across industries to drive value and lead small teams.

You will help clients digitize engineering functions, build business cases, and support sales origination while embracing innovative methods and tools. Travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience working on engineering improvement initiatives.
• 1 year of experience in internal or external consulting role at comparable level.
• 1 year of experience related to new technology (Digital Thread / Twin, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, etc.)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have minimum 6 years’ work experience).

Responsibilities

• Support clients across a broad range of industries to address issues related to engineering transformations, cost management, and product lifecycle systems.
• Lead engineering transformations including organization structure, new product development processes, and R&D spend optimization.
• Perform value engineering and should-cost analyses to drive Design to Value.
• Develop product strategies including Product as a Service and Platform ecosystems.
• Digitize engineering functions with Digital Thread/Twin, RPA, ML/AI, and Blockchain.
• Spot, isolate, and solve engineering problems using advanced analytics and should-cost modelling.
• Lead small to medium teams (2-5) and coach others; support sales origination and thought leadership.
