Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned engineering consultant to help our world’s leading enterprises reinvent through engineering transformations and AI-enabled strategies. You will advise on product cost management, portfolio optimization, and digital thread initiatives while guiding teams and contributing to sales efforts.

You will work across industries, applying advanced analytics and should-cost modelling to drive value. Travel up to 75% is required, with a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years engineering improvement initiatives
• 1 year in internal or external consulting at comparable level
• 1 year with new technology (Digital Thread/Twin, RPA, ML/AI, Blockchain)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (12 years)

Responsibilities

• Support clients across industries to address engineering issues.
• Engineering transformations: organization structure, NPD process, R&D spend, PLM systems.
• Zero-base product cost management via value analysis/Design to Value.
• Product strategies including Product as a Service and platform ecosystems.
• Innovation management and product portfolio optimization.
• Digitize engineering with Digital Thread/Twin, RPA, ML/AI, Blockchain.
• Spot and solve engineering problems using advanced analytics and should-cost modelling.
• Lead small to mid-sized teams (2–5) and coach others.
• Support client sales origination and thought leadership development.
