Job summary

Springs Window Fashions Mecho division in Long Island City, NY is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for the Commercial Business Unit. You will manage activities across mechanical, electrical, software, motorization, and test engineering, driving process and tools development while coordinating product support and lifecycle improvements.

Lead a diverse engineering team, prioritize work with PMs and Procurement, ensure Stage-Gate reviews, and coach staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in product development in a high-production environment.
• 3+ years of people-management experience, including leading teams through change.
• Experience in consumer goods manufacturing is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering team supporting custom and existing products.
• Coordinate with PMs and Procurement to manage risk and schedules.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain.
• Support qualification and integration of alternate materials and suppliers.
• Ensure Stage-Gate and Technical Review processes are followed.
• Drive productivity, quality, and organizational efficiency improvements.
