Job summary

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in a manufacturing setting, with a track record in plastics-related processes. You will mentor staff, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate across functions to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support engineering personnel in daily manufacturing and process improvement activities.
• Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting to improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements that reduce waste and optimize manufacturing performance.
• Support and coordinate capital projects, equipment installations, process validations, and production start-up activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and achieve business objectives.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality standards.
• Support employee development through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
