Job summary

Thermon seeks a Supervisor, Engineering in Morristown, TN to lead engineers and designers in delivering projects on time. You will ensure designs meet customer specs and collaborate with Sales and Manufacturing to align production schedules.

The role emphasizes autonomy, defined processes, and clear communication within a high-performing team. The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering, strong 3D modeling skills (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and 5+ years with capital equipment, plus knowledge of ASME

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with capital equipment preferred.
• Working knowledge of ASME Pressure Vessel Codes, boilers, heat transfer equipment or auxiliary boiler room equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and provide technical/administrative oversight.
• Provide project direction and planning to optimize team output.
• Instruct for performance improvement and development of team members.
• Develop training plans and facilitate team growth.
• Evaluate performance and conduct reviews.
• Recommending discipline to maintain high standards of work.
• Monitor attendance, approve timesheets and schedule PTO.
• Set priorities, track project schedules, and develop work processes.
