Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking engineers who want to build strong manufacturing and leadership experience early in their careers by working directly in a 24/7 production environment before advancing into broader technical or operational leadership positions.

You will lead a frontline production team while applying engineering principles to troubleshoot issues, improve process stability and quality, and develop operators' technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Interest in frontline leadership within a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (DuPont schedule).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a frontline production team through coaching, mentorship, cross-training, and performance management.
• Utilize data-driven problem-solving tools and root cause analysis to improve quality, reliability, yield, and operational performance.
• Oversee day-to-day production activities for a team of approximately 10 employees in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Reinforce process discipline and standard work while monitoring operations and addressing process variation.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to drive equipment reliability and process improvement initiatives.
• Promote a strong safety culture through training, hazard recognition, safe work practices, and incident response.
• Communicate priorities, expectations, and operational updates effectively across shift transitions.
