Job summary

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is seeking a proactive Engineering Supervisor to lead the engineering team in maintaining property assets to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. You will oversee daily operations, manage preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and regulatory requirements.

As a hands-on leader, you will train and coach staff, monitor energy usage, support ADA compliance, coordinate with other departments, and uphold OSHA

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience.
  • 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration and Life Safety operating systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, equipment operation and maintenance, record-keeping and reporting systems.
  • EPA certification is a Plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written.
  • Must have a Valid Florida Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct daily operations of the engineering team to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assign work orders and monitor completion for accuracy and quality.
  • Address maintenance related guest concerns in collaboration with department heads.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs to meet safety and operational standards.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate engineering staff to enhance skills and performance.
  • Ensure ADA compliance and maintain inspection checklists.
  • Monitor energy consumption and implement strategies to optimize efficiency.
  • Manage equipment and supply inventory to support daily operations.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of property assets to ensure maintenance meets standards.
  • Coordinate with Security to maintain locking systems and sensitive equipment.
  • Attend departmental and hotel-wide meetings to align with operational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and hotel policies.
