Job summary

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is seeking a proactive Engineering Supervisor to lead the engineering team in maintaining property assets to the highest safety and reliability standards.

You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and coordinate preventive maintenance to ensure guest safety and operational excellence across the property. Join a team focused on quality, training, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the engineering team to ensure peak performance.
  • Assign work orders and monitor completion for quality.
  • Address maintenance related guest concerns in collaboration with department heads.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs to meet safety and standards.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate engineering staff to enhance skills.
  • Ensure ADA compliance and maintain inspection checklists.
  • Monitor energy usage and implement efficiency strategies.
  • Manage equipment and supply inventory to support daily operations.
  • Conduct periodic inspections to ensure maintenance meets standards.
  • Coordinate with Security on locking systems and sensitive equipment.
  • Participate in departmental and hotel-wide meetings to align with goals.
  • Ensure OSHA safety procedures and hotel policies are followed.

About Lakewood Regional Support

Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

What We're Looking For

A proactive and detail-oriented Engineering Supervisor who will lead the engineering team in maintaining property assets to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. In this leadership role, you'll oversee daily operations, manage preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and regulatory requirements. From supervising staff and coordinating training to monitoring energy consumption and supporting ADA compliance, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. What You'll Do

  • Administer key control, tool control, and security-related maintenance procedures
  • Coordinate with Security to maintain locking systems and sensitive equipment
  • Attend departmental and hotel-wide meetings to align with operational goals
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and hotel policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications Include
  • Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience
  • 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration and Life Safety operating systems
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, equipment operat
