Job summary

Peachtree Group seeks an Engineering Supervisor to provide technical and administrative support to the Chief Engineer and oversee all maintenance operations across the facility. The role includes supervising maintenance staff, ensuring safety protocols, energy and utility monitoring, and timely completion of projects for event spaces, kitchens, and convention center areas.

You will report to the Chief Engineer, uphold OSHA standards, and help maintain grounds, equipment logs, and inventory

• Provides professional and courteous service at all times.
• Maintains all maintenance and preventative maintenance issues across facilities and equipment.
• Monitors electricity, gas and water consumption.
• Ensures projects are completed per specifications and on time.
• Follows lock out-tag out procedures per OSHA standards.
• Performs guestroom and public area preventive maintenance as outlined for the hotel.
• Conducts maintenance checks of equipment and logs.
• Reports safety and security concerns to Chief Engineer or Manager on Duty immediately.
• Keeps key inventories secure.
• Responds promptly to emergency situations.
• Participates in maintenance programs for event spaces, public spaces, kitchens, and convention center equipment.
• Performs inventory duties as required.
• Maintains grounds cleanliness and landscaping appearance.
• Ensures workspace and storage areas are clean and orderly.
• Attends monthly staff meetings.
• Completes projects as directed by the Chief Engineer.

Job description

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for providing technical and administrative assistance to the Chief Engineer. They also provide assistance in all operational aspects of the Engineering Department.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provides professional and courteous service at all times.
• Maintains all maintenance and preventative maintenance issues: refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventative maintenance, convention center front and back of house spaces, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, water softeners, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, etc.
• Monitors electric, gas and water consumption.
• Ensures all projects are completed according to specifications and are completed on time.
• Understands and practices all lock out-tag out procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Perform all guestroom and public area preventive maintenance services as outlined for your hotel.
• Performs maintenance checks of equipment and logs properly.
• Reports all safety and security concerns to the Chief Engineer or the Manager on Duty immediately.
• Ensures all key inventories are secure.
• Responds to all emergency situations prepared to assist.
• Participates in ongoing maintenance programs for event space, public space, kitchens, and all convention center equipment.
• Performs inventory duties as required.
• Maintains cleanliness of grounds and attractiveness of landscaping.
• Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of all workspace and storage areas.
• Attends monthly staff meetings.
• Completes projects as determined by the Chief Engineer.
