Job Description
To ensure all types of facility maintenance and construction are performed in a safe, timely, and cost-efficient manner for all dockside facilities.
- Provide primary and specialized support for all mechanical equipment, related systems (HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, restaurant, plumbing, structural, etc.), and all general building/facilities both interior and exterior (carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.) through delegation of responsibilities to the crew and hands-on performance.
- Conduct routine and miscellaneous inspections regarding new installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, procedures, and tests of air handlers, exhaust fans, pumps, domestic water systems, fire protection systems, restaurant equipment, waste systems, electrical systems, chillers, heat exchangers, separators, and associated equipment to provide service and support in accordance with applicable codes and ACSC policies and procedures.
- Identify and relay opportunities for improvement to support and contribute to department and property business, guest, and team member satisfaction.
- Monitor all scheduled and unscheduled overtime during supervised shifts.
- Monitor parts and supplies inventory to maintain adequate stock while avoiding excess or obsolete items.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED with a minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience, including two (2) years of supervisory experience in facility maintenance.
- Degree related to facility engineering, local municipal license, and/or multiple certificates in various crafts preferred.
- Valid Missouri driver’s license.
- Highly skilled in the use of all hand and power tools related to facility maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry fields.
- Proficient in the proper application and use of common and specialized tools and test equipment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
