Job summary

Continental’s Plant Engineering Summer Intern position provides hands-on experience under the guidance of the Plant Engineering Manager, focusing on optimizing manufacturing processes using Plant Engineering Tools and Lean methods. You will analyze production, complete time studies, and learn to apply ESH procedures in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future for this posting.
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position

Responsibilities

• Assist, with other Plant Engineering Personnel, to complete an assigned Individual project and one group project.
• Support other daily tasks and projects.
• Perform floor time and methods study of existing and new systems.
• Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.
