The role emphasizes reducing waste, boosting efficiency, and leaning into LEAN methodologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a BS in Chemical Engineering.
• GPA requirement of 3.0.
• Summer intern session runs from late May to early August; availability for full-time hire during this time.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of factors affecting processes and products.
• Manage assigned internship project with sound project management.
• Analyze problems and implement solutions using critical thinking and focused improvement.
• Incorporate creative thinking to identify improvements and reduce costs.
• Prepare diagrams, charts, tables to reflect findings and support recommendations.
• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of associates to meet goals.
• Participate fully in the Safety Process/Program.
