Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Senior Student Program Coordinator for the Cockrell School of Engineering. This role plans and executes programs promoting educational opportunities, supports Ramshorn Scholars, and assists with academic advising delivery on the UT campus.

Responsibilities include coordinating curricula, hiring peer coaches, managing timesheets, and delivering routine advising across first-year students. Strong communication and coordination skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years coordinating student programs with college students.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to work with diverse groups.
• Experience with scheduling, advising, and event management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with the Ramshorn Scholars Program.
• Coordinate first-year programming and coach/manager development activities.
• Provide routine academic advising including schedule changes and withdrawals.
• Plan Ramshorn events and present at information sessions and orientations.
• Participate in university-wide activities and advising outreach.
