Job summary

KMS Solutions, LLC is seeking an Engineering and Standards Management Support Engineer in the Alexandria/Washington, DC area. The role provides critical technical, analytical, and programmatic support to the DRPM CHENG organization, organizing specifications, standards, and governance artifacts for undersea programs.

The position requires a engineering/technical degree or 20 years of submarine experience, with a SECRET DoD clearance or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field or 20 years of submarine service experience.
• 8 years supporting Navy engineering, program management, undersea systems, or related technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory, analytical, and execution support to DRPM CHENG in organizing, tracking, and managing engineering specifications, standards, and related artifacts.
• Coordinate among engineering and program stakeholders to support review, adjudication, and update of technical documents.
• Maintain traceability between specifications, standards, and decisions to improve awareness of requirement impacts.
