Job summary

Emerson is seeking a motivated engineering student for a co-op role in the United States. You will support development, revision, and maintenance of engineering standards and procedures, perform technical communication and documentation, and pilot training materials, tools, and educational resources.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product Management, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Sophomore standing or above.
• Ability to work full-time during the co-op term.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• You define issues and map out a process. You manage uncertainty with confidence. You learn to streamline processes and cut out redundancy.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related technical discipline

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• Sophomore standing or above

• Ability to work full-time during the co-op term

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Proficiency with technical writing and verbal communication

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Interest in the process and procedures of Engineering

• Experience using Microsoft Office, or similar tools. Mathcad or similar experience desirable

• Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and willingness to ask questions
