Job summary

Radiance Technologies in the Dayton, OH area seeks a senior electronics engineer with a TS/SCI clearance and 5+ years of documented technical experience. The role focuses on characterizing and assessing discrete electronic systems.

You will diagnose, repair, or rehost electronic systems, perform PCB troubleshooting, and read schematics. Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, and familiarity with Altium are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of documentable technical experience in electronics/defense.
• Current TS/SCI clearance required.
• Minimum 2 years engineering experience supporting electronic systems characterization.
• Experience with PCB layout, fabrication and component population is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Characterize and assess discrete electronic systems.
• Diagnose, repair, remove, or rehost electronic systems/components.
• Troubleshoot printed circuit boards and assemblies.
• Read and validate schematics and test configurations.
• Develop, validate, and read schematics using Altium or similar tools.

• Current TS/SCI Clearance Required Experience : * Minimum 2 years of engineering experience supporting the characterization and assessments of discrete electronic systems
• Minimum 2 years of performing diagnostics, repair, removal, or rehosting of electronic systems /components
• Minimum 2 years of experience with PCB layout, fabrication, and component population Desired Qualifications: * Experience with embedded systems
• Experience with assembly language programming
• Experience with test equipment including In-Circuit-Debuggers/Emulators, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, multimeter , soldering tools
• Experience troubleshooting printed circuit boards
• Experience developing, validating , and reading schematics
• Experience using Altium vs other circuit tools ( KiCAD , OrCAD, LTspice, etc.))
